I braved the freezing cold for an hour this morning to plant my bulbs....snowdrops, a mixture of yellow, blue, whitewell purple, and 'Jeanne d'Arc' crocus, then finally heart's delight tulips and pink hyacinths. Vin's braver than me he is still out there working on the greenhouse. Above are bricks he has cleaned ready for our well. The bird tray was empty of peanuts this morning, no birds to be seen tho, I thought maybe the strong winds had blown the peanuts away, but I was wrong the birds have left plenty of proof that they have visited as well as eaten....hope to catch a glimpse of them soon.
