30 day challenge

I have completed the 30 day challenge as well as a further two weeks. I am now upping the challenge.

Vin's friend has suggested the three peak challenge...i have looked at it on the Internet and there is a minimum requirement of the number of people doing it together, so i am looking for a group to do it with.

I now have three groups on face book:

Gambia group.

Lochnagar crater group.

The most recent one set up this week.....Special needs support network group.

I have recently been looking at ideas on how to make an album for Nichola. I have quite a few ideas already and i am excited about doing it. Apart from doing photo collages i have not attempted putting anything else together.
Because it is a gift i will not be posting photo's of it on here until Nichola has received it. I will take photo's of its progress.

I have always envied people who are good at crafts. The closest i have come to it has been knitting...all types... and lots,...and sewing...children's clothes and baby quilt covers, bumper covers etc.,

I remember dolly pegging with an elderly lady i used to keep company when i was very young. In fact it was the same lady who had an influence on my decision to become a nurse....i was eight years old at the time.

We leave for The Gambia on the 5Th April ...returning on my birthday.....so will have lots to put on my blog when we return.

Tattoo's

Hope you are all enjoying valentines day.

Here are a couple of photo's of the most recent tattoo Vin has done. It was done in one sitting yesterday. I found it difficult to photograph the full dragon. This tattoo was done free hand.

Well i am still working hard on the fitness side of things the 30 day challenge is getting harder, but i enjoy the workout it gives...it really works all muscle groups.

It was Vin's two youngest granddaughters birthdays yesterday and we have been invited to a party today at 4pm. Darby is now two and Levi is six. I also get to meet Gage's girlfriend for the first time.....the hours i work makes it difficult to visit people and of course it's difficult for others cos of work and school. I always find winter a difficult time and miss seeing everyone...it feels like bedtime at 5 o,clock....i have noticed the daylights getting longer though.

Catch up

There are no photo's with this today, i as usual have been busy doing other things.

I am half way through my 30 day challenge and doing really well. The regime is very motivating and works every muscle group. I have taken a look at the following six week challenge and that looks really good too. Both DVDs have a huge amount of other exercises so i am really pleased i bought them....they are my kind of workout.

The kitchen work tops are in the process of being changed, so more wood and dust but it will be worth it.

Nichola recently recommended The Happiness Project to me and its toolbox....i am finding it very useful and intend buying the book. The website illustrates around five pages of the book so i am sure i will enjoy reading it.

I am in the mood for reading....i always love reading but unless i am able to give time to it i avoid picking up a book because i hate putting a good book down.

Study wise i have plenty to go at but then again i always will have, a lot of my time is spent teaching, guiding and motivating...which also motives me.

i haven't chosen where i am going to climb yet..I am waiting for Vin to visit his friend, then i will choose...he has climbed so many.
