Buns/small sponge cakes are really taking off with lots of new pretty colours and designs...this is one Libby brought home from a birthday party on Saturday......

More of the girls

Photo's following another lovely weekend with Libby and Casey...

More cards

I have made around 24 cards since i started with the Christmas ones. I have also added inners. .

The one with the girl and sleigh isn't finished i have a few small trees to add before adding it's inner paper.

The reindeer one has caught the light which makes it look as the there are white blotches when it's actually lovely glitter.

Poppy's and baby's

It's that time of year when we buy our poppy's in remembrance. I found these lovely artificial ones whilst out shopping.

October is fast arriving and our baby's will soon be here. Both girls are blooming they look lovely. We can't wait to meet the new baby's and celebrate their arrival......

As quickly as the baby's arrive it will be time for the annual fund raising dinner in aid of Lochnagar crater, followed by our annual trip to Belgium and France.....and Armistice.

I have encouraged Vin is start his own blog and show off his work.It will take a little while to grow so I am adding a few photo's for him that i have taken of some of his work until his new work is complete...some of the items he will be posting he has made to help to raise funds for the crater... http://www.art-of remembrance.blogspot.com Crafted by hand....

Lochnagar cross

We recently received messages and photo's from France letting us know that the cross at the crater has fallen down.

This is really sad and we are waiting for news about what is going to happen next. It will take a lot of work to replace it...a new cross would not replace the history behind the old cross...that is if the old cross is beyond repair....

Christmas cards

These are my first attempts at making Christmas cards. They are basic and i am hoping i will be able to be creative enough to improve as i have enjoyed making these. I will be adding verses inside by printing on either red or green paper.

I have almost finished Nichola's album. I really enjoyed putting it together but i am very conscious that it is my first attempt at crafting. I know that i will come across ideas that i will wish i had seen earlier....
