Jades garden was ready for the memorial Bbq on Saturday 23rd August.
50 people turned out and others elsewhere let me know they were thinking about her.
I had intended posting on my blog early that morning with a photo of the flowers i had ordered and also a photo of her resting place taken a couple of days earlier but found it difficult.
Trudy had tidied the grave and bought a welcome to the fairy garden plaque....at the same time i bought almost the same plaque for her garden.
These photo's were taken of the garden on the morning but i did not take any on the evening.
As you can see the sunflower in the garden is growing really tall, and we now have jades first sunflower in a yellow pot from Nichola and Justin in her garden.
Pauline [a very special friend who couldn't make it] surprised me with the lovely fairy you can see hanging from Jade's tree.
Friends arrived from as far away Derby and Surrey.
It was very comforting to have so many friends and family together....
A couple of days later we were visited by my brother who you can see here.
Vin's hard work paid off....i am pleased with my amateur attempts at hanging baskets, potted and garden plants, [click on the thumb nail for close up of Jade's garden].
