A book shop and the local 'Asda'....the locals are very friendly in Gambia, we had a lot of laughs with them. Their beliefs are very strong and they are very spiritual. These shops are typical of the majority of shops around Gambia. Their main market is amazing. Once i manage to transfer our other photo's from a smart card i am having problems with, i will post all my favourites including ones from the local orphanage where a lot of the children live that were abandoned at birth. I found this very moving along with the way people lived in their compounds. The people mostly appear happy and welcoming.
We rode along the beach and through a village on quad bikes twice, the children were very excited to see us, it was quite an eye opener. My sister and her husband are seated on one of the two person bikes.
