We returned from Gambia in the early hours yesterday to a very cold country....it has been really difficult to get warm again. Our trip was really good and we have made special friends over there. We aim to return next year when it will be my sisters silver wedding anniversary.
The journey home has left us really tired as we were delayed, i am trying to re energise ready for work tomorrow....three long days followed by four night shifts!!!!
Over the next couple of days or so i shall be posting various special photo's.... for some reason one of the smart cards...which has most of the best photo's.....will not transfer at the moment.
We have brought four seeds from a tree that grows cotton home with us to plant whilst on the Somme. We hope to plant them in Delville wood where the Africans fought close to the African memorial/museum. I will find out more info about the tree to post later.
