Serrakunda market is the main market in Gambia. Its a very busy market and very different to anything i have experienced before. Both times we visited we went with Beres and Kalifa or with Cheif, we would not go alone, only because they all want you to buy their goods and it can be very difficult to say no when you can see they need to sell to survive.
