More from Gambia

I have finally managed to import my photo's with some help from Vins son Neil. Above is a photo of us taken at Lamin Lodge where we visited the monkeys. I was suffering that day, the sun had truly caught me and my face was swollen and back and shoulders burnt, so i stayed well covered and behind sunglasses for a few days. Stood with us is our guide Chief who looked after us the full two weeks. He negotiated for us and helped ease the pressure from the locals who sometimes tried to 'charm our money away'. The other local pictured here is Addy she befriended my niece Kelly.

There are so many photo's...a few hundred.... that i need to spend time choosing ones to post. At the moment i am so tired from my shifts and have very little time before its time for work again. I don't think i have got over our journey home. My shifts end Friday morning so saturday should be a good day to spend time on my blog.

Todays thought:-

"You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For, remember, fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind,"
