This is one of the gifts i received from one of my students.
He paid a visit to Australia over Xmas and brought me this back...along with a couple of bottles of wine.
I wanted to post this on my blog because i really love having students and have been lucky to have some really hard working and motivated ones.
My newest student started this week it is her very first time on a ward. She will be with us for twelve weeks and i am looking forward to seeing how much she has developed by the end of her placement.
Others i have had this year are starting in either their second or third year and i am really excited for them.
Three years soon pass and it is important to make the most of that time. I remember when i started and thought three years would last as long as the time almost thirty five years since i started has taken, it is scary, especially with the amount of responsibility a registered nurse now has.
Thought for today:-
"It is a sign of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."
