Christmas was a mixture of fun and the start of the sickness bug, which almost affected our New year plans....luckily it didn't and we were able to see in the New year and celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Early on in the evening when everyone had arrived at our meeting place Scott [my nephew] announced that he had proposed to Gemma earlier that day so we had even more to celebrate. They hope to marry in 2011 and i am really excited they make a lovely couple. I have added photo's of them, although they were not taken on new years eve i think they reflect their happiness at being together,.... we had fun that night too.
It's back to work for me tonight and back to reality. The Christmas decorations are down and the living room is stripped ready to decorate.
The garden is almost bare although we have Jasmin in the front garden which looks pretty.
The bird station needs replenishing so a visit to the garden centre needs to be made to top up our supplies for the winter.
Today's thought:-
"The best, most beautiful things, in the world cannot be seen, or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."
