Pink roses

Above is a picture of pink roses for my grandma, her front garden was full of them.... mostly red. Our roses haven't bloomed yet so i was unable to post one of our own....so i chose these....when i was a child Sunday afternoons were spent collecting manure for the roses. After our sunday dinner, cooked by my grandma, my grandma, grandad, Cheryl and me always took a ride out into the country for the manure for the roses. My grandad was always proud of his roses. After my grandad died, over twenty five years ago, my grandma managed the garden helped by my brother and other family members then finally a gardener.

[I always knew my step grandad as grandad, and didn't meet my natural one until i was twenty, my natural one died within a few months of meeting him at a very early age of sixty five from a heart attack whilst moving from Derbyshire to Yorkshire to be closer to us.]

The photo in the photo below where i am stood in the front garden is where the roses grew.
