'New year resolution'.

I have a very busy year to look forward to in 2009, which includes extra family/friends time, additional visits abroad, continuing our fund raising for the Gambian children/schools, re decorating and updating our home, producing brighter and happier gardens than last year, supporting Vin with his lovely dolls houses, continuing my counselling course as well as starting a new project on communication i have been allocated at work, and of course working hard to enable all this!!

I also aim to regularly update my blog, my motivation was lost a bit!! after having problems with my lap top and main computer.... hopefully we are back on track now.

Nichola bought me a special gift recently....1001 Pearls of wisdom.....these quotes will help me continue "thought for the day"....a part of my blog i really enjoy.

2008 brought new pleasures as well as continuing old one's. Hopefully my blog reflects some of these.

3 of Vin's grandchildren came back into our lives approx six weeks ago after a two and a half year gap, which has been lovely [see photo above of Karl, Abbie and Katie taken with Libby and Casey after decorating the Xmas tree].... hopefully their visits will continue.

Thought for today:-

HEALTHY LIVING "The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly."
